A Modern Black & White Affair at Double Deer | Ally & Shade

On September 14th, 2024, Ally and Shade were married beneath the open sky on the sweeping grounds of the Promontory Club’s Double Deer venue—a location that blends elite elegance with cinematic mountain views. With a backdrop of rolling hills and endless sky, their ceremony unfolded on the immaculate lawn, framed by delicate white blooms and thoughtfully curated minimalism. Rows of crisp white chairs flanked a modern aisle, leading to a romantic floral installation of layered white roses, hydrangea, and baby’s breath, grounded directly on the earth.

Ally, radiant in a sculptural strapless gown, carried a clean and luxurious bouquet of all-white roses. Shade, in a timeless black tuxedo, looked every bit the classic groom—together, they embodied sophistication and joy.

The evening transitioned from open-air vows to a candlelit celebration in the Double Deer ballroom.

The reception design was a masterclass in modern elegance. Tables were set with layered glassware, black napkins, and menus tucked into sleek acrylic chargers. Lush greenery danced down the center of each table, surrounded by an abundance of floating candles and black tapers for a glowing, romantic atmosphere.

Towering floral centerpieces on black stands brought height and drama to the space, while the base of the stage was adorned with a full floral hedge—ensuring the band was set in a sea of blooms.
